Hi! I’m Levi Barrie.
I'm a photographer and filmmaker based in Austin, TX. Nearly 15 years ago I began developing my skills behind the camera, and I’m proud to say that I’ve been a visual storyteller professionally for 10 years. The stories that fascinate me the most reveal more about the complexities of the human experience with a sense of respect and intimacy, shed light on important issues, and make bold visual choices.
As a creator, I recognize the immense power that media has in shaping our society. In my work I strive to represent people from a wide variety of backgrounds with care and nuance.
Whether the project requires me to work alone or collaborate with a team, I take on the work that I do with respect, empathy, enthusiasm, deep creativity, and a keen eye for detail. One of the most important goals for my career is to cultivate work environments in which each individual collaborator feels seen, heard, and safe.
